ProShares Short Euro (EUFX) Research
The fund aims to provide inverse exposure to its benchmark, primarily by utilizing futures contracts based on the underlying currency. However, in cases where the market for specific futures contracts encounters severe disruptions—including natural disasters, terrorist attacks, "acts of God," or operational issues such as trading halts or flash crashes—the fund has the option to invest in forward contracts instead. This alternative may also be pursued if the Sponsor determines that engaging with futures contracts is impractical or ill-advised.
