The Dean Mid Cap Value fund primarily allocates its capital to the equity shares of mid-sized enterprises. Its management team defines "mid cap" as companies possessing market valuations equivalent to those listed on the Russell MidCap® Value Index at the point of initial investment. A substantial majority, no less than 80% of its net assets, is directed towards equity instruments issued by U.S.-based mid-cap firms. These permissible equity holdings encompass common stock, securities convertible into common stock, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), and master limited partnerships (MLPs).
