Morgan Creek-Exos Active SPAC Arbitrage ETF (CSH) Research

This fund's primary strategy involves investing in U.S.-listed Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs) during typical market conditions. Specifically, it targets the units offered by these entities, which commonly comprise common stock, warrants, and associated rights. A SPAC itself is a blank check entity with no commercial operations of its own. Its sole purpose is to raise capital through an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in order to eventually acquire, merge with, or otherwise combine with an existing operating business. A substantial portion of the fund's net assets—at least 80% under normal circumstances—is strategically directed towards these Pre-Combination SPACs, meaning those that have not yet identified or completed a merger target. Investors should also be aware that this fund operates on a non-diversified basis.
