The company currently holds and operates approximately five crude oil wells within Gray County in the Texas Panhandle; among these are four actively producing wells and a single well designated for water disposal. Beyond its energy ventures, Chancellor Group also participates in the creation of web-based and mobile application technologies. The firm, established in 1986, changed its name from Nighthawk Capital, Inc. to its current designation in March 1996, and maintains its principal office in Amarillo, Texas.
