These are issued by companies of all market sizes that are either based in, have at least 50% of their assets located in, or generate at least 50% of their revenues from emerging market economies. To qualify as "high-dividend paying" for the fund, a common stock's dividend yield will typically surpass the average dividend yield found among the equity components of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index.
