Calvert Mid-Cap Fund Class A (CCAFX) Research
This fund typically allocates a minimum of 80% of its total net assets, which includes any borrowed capital used for investment, to equity securities issued by mid-capitalization companies. The advisor defines these mid-cap firms as those whose market value aligns with the range of the Russell Midcap® Index at the time of purchase. While its primary emphasis is on U.S. mid-cap enterprises, the portfolio also has the discretion to invest in companies with smaller market capitalizations. Additionally, it may hold publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Up to a quarter (25%) of the fund's net assets may also be directed towards international (foreign) securities.
