Brandes International Equity Fund (BIECX) Research

This fund's core strategy is to invest in the stock of companies operating outside the United States. It generally targets these international businesses if their market capitalization exceeds $5 billion at the time of acquisition. An enterprise's "foreign" status is determined by evaluating factors such as its country of incorporation, its principal place of business, its primary stock exchange listing, and/or where it generates its revenue. Under typical market circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's net assets, as measured when investments are made, will be committed to the equity securities of companies situated in at least three different nations globally, excluding the U.S.
