Brunswick Corporation (BC) Research
Brunswick Corporation is a global entity dedicated to the creation, production, and distribution of leisure and recreational goods. The company's operations are organized into three core divisions: Propulsion, Parts & Accessories, and Boats. The Propulsion segment focuses on delivering marine engines—including outboard, sterndrive, and inboard models—to both independent boat builders and governmental bodies. These products are distributed through a broad network of marine dealerships, wholesale distributors, specialized retail outlets, and service centers. Additionally, this segment supplies crucial propulsion-related components like controls, rigging, and propellers to both original equipment manufacturers and various aftermarket channels. Its well-known brands include Mercury, Mercury MerCruiser, Mariner, Mercury Racing, and Mercury Diesel. Through its Parts & Accessories division, Brunswick offers a comprehensive array of products. This encompasses engine components, consumables, electrical products, boat parts and systems, engine oils and lubricants, marine electronics, control systems, instruments, trolling motors, fuel and electrical systems. It also provides aftermarket items for specialty vehicles, mobile applications, and the transportation sector. These offerings serve original equipment manufacturers in both marine and non-marine industries, alongside aftermarket retailers and distribution businesses. Prominent brands in this segment feature Mercury, Mercury Precision Parts, Quicksilver, and Seachoice. The Boat segment boasts a diverse range of watercraft, including Sea Ray sport boats and cruisers; Bayliner sport cruisers, runabouts, and Heyday wake boats; Boston Whaler fiberglass offshore boats; Lund fiberglass fishing boats; and a variety of aluminum fishing, utility, pontoon, and deck boats from brands such as Crestliner, Cypress Cay, Harris, Lowe, Lund, and Princecraft. It also includes Thunder Jet's heavy-gauge aluminum vessels. This segment further supports the marine industry by offering services like the Freedom Boat Club, dealer support, and technological solutions, all made available through its network of dealers and distributors. Brunswick Corporation was established in 1845 and maintains its corporate base in Mettawa, Illinois.
