Conversely, the Test Systems segment focuses on the design, development, manufacturing, and upkeep of automated testing apparatus. These systems are vital for the aerospace, defense, communications, and mass transit industries. This segment also delivers specialized wireless communication testing for the civil land mobile radio market, alongside creating training and simulation tools for both commercial and military applications. Its main customers are OEMs and prime government contractors in the electronics and military product fields. Established in 1968, Astronics Corporation maintains its corporate headquarters in East Aurora, New York.
