Typically, this fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its total assets (including any borrowed capital for investment) to government bonds from the Asia-Pacific region. Furthermore, it has the discretion to acquire debt securities from supranational organizations, for instance, the World Bank, Asia Development Bank, and Asian Infrastructure Bank, which are specifically termed supranational bonds. There are no restrictions on the fund's exposure to securities issued by entities in developing economies, including those considered frontier markets. The fund operates on a non-diversified basis.
